The power of art was carried out in Czechia by a group of passionate art-loving participants.
The project was carried out with a total of 40 participants from Czechia, Turkey, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Romania, Romania, Poland, Slovakia and Latvia, and gender balance was emphasized. Thus, the principle of equal opportunity, which is among the Erasmus Plus goals and priorities, was tried to be ensured among the participants. Participants from the age group of 25-40 from each country who have studies and knowledge on the project subject were included in the project process.
In the project, which was carried out to support people's emotional and mental health and to explain the healing power of art, the participants were informed about art therapy, the participants developed awareness about people with psychological disorders, the participants came together with different cultures and carried out various activities. Many supportive activities related to the art therapy method were carried out within the scope of the project in order to enable the participants to relieve stress and various problems through meditations such as yoga, to increase the voluntary participation of young people in social responsibility projects, to contribute to the development of awareness, to support the language development of the participants, to enable young people to learn about different cultures. In the first meeting, the participants were provided with general information about the project process and the hotel. During this meeting, the participants generally met among themselves. Then a get acquainted game was organized with all the participants. With this introductory game, both the self-confidence and communication skills of the participants were strengthened. Through the cultural activities, the participants learned about each other's cultures and were supported in building an intercultural bridge. In this way, participants' prejudices against different cultures were also broken down. In addition, orientation activities were carried out in order for the participants to adapt to the process in the project, where activities supporting the presentations were held. In particular, various activities were carried out to introduce the Erasmus Plus Program and the Youthpass process. All activities in the process included rest breaks of minimum 10 and maximum 30 minutes. At the same time, half-hour warm-up games were organized to prevent the participants from getting bored and distracted during the activities. With these games, they woke up in the morning and got rid of the morning hangover. In the warm-up games held in the evening, the participants were able to relieve the tiredness of the day and reached the energy level to contribute to dissemination and sustainability activities. In addition to these activities, a city tour was organized for all participants to see the unique beauties and historical sites of Prague.
